The North American Bordeaux Federation was founded on
7/15/07, by a group of Dogue de Bordeaux lovers with
many key goals in mind. This club is in line with AKC
goals, very much similar to those of the DDBSA.
This club is an additional means in which to further
promote the breed in all avenues available, through
means of an open forum that lacks a board of
directors.
All issues brought before the club are
voted on by a majority, giving every member a voice on
every issue, every time.
Our belief is this will offer more diversity in
choices for breeders, and hopefully build a happy
society of breeders/owners/fanciers, whether they are
DDBSA members, our members, or both.
This club will fully promote the registering of all
dogues and pups through AKC and UKC.
We encouraging owners/breeders to get out there
and show their dogues in ANY event they can, whether
those shows are UKC, AKC,
ARBA, IABCA,
Rarities,
Canadian shows or any other shows available out there!
Additionally, our goal is to help educate people on
the breed itself and pressing breed issues.
This club is about breed promotion and breed
education!
This club is meant to be a harmonious blend of doing
what's right for the breed, while maintaining the
integrity of the breeders' right to choose the path of
their own breeding programs!
To become a member, visit the club website at www.nabfclub.org/membership.htm to
download and print a PDF membership application. It will state what the
yearly fee is for membership. Please include a small bio on
yourself/your family that states your background, and your involvement
in the DDB breed. Once received, your application will be voted on by
the members to determine approval.
